The pioneer of the non-bank finance industry, NDK financial services, has revitalized its brand on all levels.

Speaking at the company’s end-of-year cocktail meeting in Accra, the Chief Executive of the company, Mr. Oko-Nikoi Dzani said the revitalizing of the brand has been necessitated by the significant internal restructuring to reposition the company and its offerings to better serve clients.

“The new NDK brand is the sum of our business identity, our visual identity, our individuals’ identities and our customer identity”, he said.

Mr. Dzani said the company’s tag line “Loans. Investment. Solutions” is a clear and functional reminder of what the company does and offers, “we will continue to build this desire to exceed our customers’ expectations”.

“Our logo represents our new orientation - our commitment to being top of mind for our clients and also to represent the dynamism, innovation and dedication to results that we have as our guiding principles.”

With the new logo, Mr. Dzani said, “we are committing to our brand promise, our corporate values and the mission of the company.”

He said in 2008, the company will also add new products to its services.

“We know that your financial circumstances are unlike anyone else’s so we understand how overwhelmed and uncomfortable you often feel when financial institutions require you to fit into a category or a description of a product they have. You look at the brochure and you don’t identify with any of the products being advertised. Your financial situation is not as simple as they would like to be. What you need and deserve is a service as individual as yourself, no packaging jargon, no fancy marketing terms no bureaucracy, just loans and financial advice customized to your needs.”

NDK is a specialist Finance House which uses original thinking as part of its creative approach to providing financial services. “We do it all, from gap loans to warehousing to SME financing but just without the hustle and confusion of packaging and marketing gimmicks”, Chief Executive said.

As part of its social responsibilities to the community, Mr. Dzani said NDK financial services has sponsored many programmes and projects aimed at giving back to the community after 16years of successful operations. .

“We are committed to supporting the communities in which our customers and employees work and live. Our objective is to build meaningful relationships with organizations and customers to develop business-building opportunities.” he said.

In education, he said, NDK has assisted in the payment of School fees for students in second cycle and tertiary institutions… In 2006 we built and donated an ¢850 Million School complex to Puteh, a fishing village in the Dangme East District of Ada.

Mr. Oko-Nikoi Dzani said NDK lent financial support to the construction of the first synthetic hockey pitch (Astroturf) in Ghana.

The project, he said, has contributed tremendously to hockey development and improved the game of hockey in Ghana.

“We believe that a healthy body makes for a healthy mind. We encourage good health amongst our staff and we also provide financial support to individuals who require assistance for specialist medical treatment. Other charitable activities include supporting cases of extreme need that are brought to our attention” he said.

NDK is the oldest company in the Finance House category of the Non-Banking Financial Services industry in Ghana and began operations in 1991, prior to the enactment of the Financial Institutions (Non-Banking Law) of 1993 – PNDC 328.

“It is through our input and our constant demands for improvement that many of the laws and regulations that govern the non-bank industry were put into place… We continue to provide input for the continuous revision of the Non-Banking law and the regulations under which all Non-Bank Institutions operate”, Chief Executive of the company, Mr. Oko-Nikoi Dzani said.
